Gillian Wyles joined NRMSS (“Multi”) in 1976 and graduated from the Arts Stream in 1982. Multi, being the type of school that afforded students the opportunity to participate and excel in sports and arts, Gillian discovered her athletic prowess in track and field and circle tennis. Gillian competed in the 100 and 200 meter races, broad jumped and excelled in high jump. She was the undefeated high jump champion in the school district and was a former “Champion Girl”.
Gillian was also very active in student activities, participating in dance, theatrical arts, and even played the melodica, piano and guitar. She also participated in the legendary “three-day” concert held back in the days.
Gillian confesses that her days at Multi were filled with lots of fun, extra curricular activities and thus have made life long friendships.
She migrated to the USA in 1998 and currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
