MISSION STATEMENT
To provide financial assistance to our alma mater, North Ruimveldt Multilateral School Secondary (NRMSS), Guyana to assure the stability of the school which contributes to academic excellence and the development of Guyana. We therefore work to strengthen material support for educational growth and enrichment activities needed by the students to maximize their social, emotional, and academic success; and to create program opportunities for students to fully engage with their communities and participate meaningfully in the educational mainstream.

Alumni Association’s 2021 Awards
Every year, the NRMSS Alumni Association awards for academic excellence at the CXC exam are given to the top performing students at Multi, and in 2021, despite the pandemic, the burning of the school building and challenges the students faced, they performed brilliantly. The Alumni Association’s 2021 awards were given to the top 10 graduating students. The top four each received a laptop along with a Microsoft Office license, tote bag, mouse and mouse pad; and the remaining six each received a book voucher valued $100 USD issued by Austin’s bookstore. NRMSS Alumni Association (US) Chapter Donates iPads to Alma Mater
On December 4, 2021 the USA Chapter shipped an additional 32 iPad to the school. These iPad, in addition to the previously sent 25, will be given to the incoming students in lieu of backpacks and school supplies to be used to attend remote classes. In addition, the organization shipped its annual graduation memorabilia, including lapel pins and tassels. Our annual awards comprising 4 laptops, mouse pads, mice and laptop bags were included. These awards which started in 2014, are given annually to the top 4 students
North Ruimveldt Secondary School’s Top Five CSEC Performers

On behalf of the Executive Committee and Directors, I extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who took the time out of their Saturday schedule to attend our AGM on Saturday, June 19, 2020, and to share your thoughts regarding the destruction of our alma mater. As we continue to grieve the loss of our school that was destroyed by fire on June 19, 2021, we ask that you join us in our call to unite in rebuilding the institution we all benefited from. Please join us as we celebrate a milestone, the 10th anniversary of NRMSS Alumni Association, Inc. A commemorative Tee shirt has been created to mark the occasion. The proceeds from the Tee shirt will support our programs helping North Ruimveldt Multilateral Secondary School. We encourage you to get a T-shirt and to toast our achievements as we reminisce about good times, and remember those whose ideas have become a reality. We’ll all continue our efforts to stay safe in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
